High durability: Polyurethane has high wear and fatigue resistance and can withstand repeated molding and disassembly operations, thereby extending the service life of the mold.
Good sealing: Polyurethane can closely fit on the surface of the mold, effectively preventing the leakage of high-pressure liquid or gas media and ensuring the smooth progress of the molding process.
Easy to process: Polyurethane has good processing properties and can make complex mold shapes through processes such as cutting, grinding and drilling.
Good corrosion resistance: Polyurethane can resist the erosion of most chemicals, thus ensuring the stability of the mold during use.
Good thermal conductivity: Polyurethane has good thermal conductivity, which allows the mold to quickly reach the required temperature during the pressing process.
In addition, the properties of polyurethane can be improved by adding other materials. For example, a wear-resistant agent can be added to improve its wear resistance, or an antistatic agent can be added to improve its anti static properties. At the same time, the physical properties such as hardness, toughness and temperature resistance of polyurethane rubber can also be changed by adjusting the formula of polyurethane rubber to meet different application needs.
