The working principle is that the powder is packed in the elastic mold and put into the ultra-high pressure working cylinder, and the hydraulic medium is injected into the ultra-high pressure working cylinder with the pump, and the powder is uniformly compressed and formed on all the surfaces of the mold.

Isostatic pressure forming method is also known as hydrostatic pressure forming method, which is to put the powder to be formed (sometimes a certain proportion of the binder is pre-mixed evenly) into an elastic mold made of plastic or rubber, and then put the mold into a high pressure container filled with a rigid liquid medium, and then apply pressure to the liquid medium. Due to the incompressibility of the rigid liquid medium and the characteristics of uniform transfer of pressure, the pressure passes through the uniform transfer elastic model of the liquid medium wrapped around the elastic mold, and the cold isostatic press price pressurizes the blank material filled in it, and finally obtains the product of a certain shape.

 

Isostatic molding method is characterized by uniform force around the embryo body, so this molding method is particularly suitable for preparing complex shaped products that can not be prepared by other molding methods. At the same time, during the process of isostatic pressing, the forming pressure can be adjusted arbitrarily. Compared with other forming methods, the isostatic pressing forming embryo has higher density and higher uniformity. In the process of firing, the embryo body shrinks and is not easy to deform.

 

Around the middle of the 20th century, in order to form at that time, a special isostatic pressure was derived on the basis of the original isostatic pressure. The specific practice is: on the basis of keeping the basic working principle and the molding pressure of 100~200MPa unchanged, the rigid liquid is replaced by gas or helium, the elastic mold is replaced by metal foil, and the isostatic press is used to carry out isostatic pressing of the material in the temperature range of several hundred 2000℃. In order to be different from the traditional isostatic pressing, this special isostatic pressing method is called hot isostatic pressing method, and the traditional isostatic pressing is called cold isostatic pressing method.
