The usual working method of isostatic pressing is to put the powder in a sealed rubber mold, and then put the rubber mold in the high-pressure chamber to pressurize. Pressurize the medium, open the rubber mold and take out the pressed workpiece.
The difference between dry bag isostatic pressing and ordinary isostatic pressing is that it accepts the pressure of the working medium in the high pressure chamber of the isostatic press through the dry bag. Usually, the mold is fixed and installed in the dry bag (or the dry bag is directly used as a mold). The lip of the dry bag is close to the inner wall of the high-pressure chamber and the high-pressure chamber forms a closed space. The working medium of the high-pressure chamber can be directly pressurized on the surface of the dry bag, and the pressure is transmitted to the surrounding rubber mold through the dry bag to fill the mold cavity. For the powder to be pressed, the working medium in the high-pressure chamber is boosted to press out the required workpiece. Dry bag isostatic pressing means that the force on the powder is not completely equal in all directions, but it has no effect on the molding of powder materials such as thin-walled cylinders and thin-walled discs, so it has been greatly promoted abroad.
