ITO target is a slightly teal transparent substance in thin film form and yellowish gray in block form. But it is not like paint to be painted on the flat glass, but first made into a standard size solid target, by the manipulation of magnetron sputtering “gunner”, constantly “shooting”, will be vaporized sputtering to the glass substrate or flexible organic film, forming a layer ITO film. The thickness of this film varies according to the functional requirements, generally in the range of 30 nm to 200 nm.

But the main application is still in the flat panel display, it is the main raw material for sputtering ITO conductive film, without its presence, many materials will not be able to achieve normal processing as well as design. ITO film due to the transparency of visible light and good conductivity, but also widely used in liquid crystal display glass, curtain wall glass and aircraft, anti-fog windshield on the car, etc..
